About Us

The Citizen Constitution Project is a founder-led public education initiative created to make constitutional knowledge more accessible to the general public.

Many Americans care deeply about the direction of their country but feel disconnected from the systems that govern them — often due to complexity, lack of transparency, or limited access to clear, understandable information. This project exists to help bridge that gap by placing education first.

This initiative is independently developed and operated. It is not funded, directed, or controlled by any political party, government agency, or corporate interest.

The long-term vision is to foster a more informed, engaged, and constitutionally grounded citizenry.

Our Core Principles

  • The Constitution belongs to the people
  • Civic participation should be informed, lawful, and peaceful
  • Education must come before reform
  • Structural change must respect constitutional boundaries
  • Public discourse should remain civil, fact-based, and open

Why This Project Exists

The Citizen Constitution Project exists to address a growing gap between public interest in constitutional issues and public understanding of how the Constitution and government processes actually work.

While many citizens care deeply about civic outcomes, constitutional mechanisms — including the amendment process — are often misunderstood or discussed without historical or legal context. This project was created to provide clear, accessible education that supports informed, lawful civic participation.

Founders Note

The Citizen Constitution Project was created in response to a simple but serious observation: when Americans are hurting, understanding matters more than ever.

Periods of national strain reveal how closely constitutional processes are tied to everyday life. When citizens lack access to clear information, frustration and confusion can replace understanding — even among those who care deeply and want to participate responsibly.

This project was not created to advance a political agenda or assign blame. It exists to place education first. By providing clear, accessible constitutional knowledge, the goal is to help citizens engage thoughtfully, lawfully, and with confidence — especially during times when clarity matters most.

I created The Citizen Constitution Project because I believe the Constitution should be understandable and accessible to everyone — students, parents, teachers, and everyday citizens alike. Civic education should empower people, not intimidate them, and knowledge should be a bridge toward participation, not a barrier.

All educational materials provided here are offered freely for learning, discussion, and classroom or family use, with the hope that they support thoughtful study and informed civic participation.

The Constitution belongs to the people. An informed public is essential to preserving liberty, strengthening civic responsibility, and ensuring that change occurs through lawful and peaceful means.

If you are new here, I invite you to begin with one of our educational pages, explore a resource, or share this project with someone who wants to better understand how our system works.
